Sharon George, Owner
Sharon George’s journey as a creator is deeply rooted in her upbringing in New Iberia, Louisiana, and her education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 1999, she and her late husband founded Bad Seed Productions, crafting custom Mardi Gras props and permanent outdoor sculptures for businesses.
Seeking new creative horizons, they relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, in 2003. There, Sharon collaborated closely with Blue Ridge Motion Pictures, building specialized props and set designs for live events, commercials, and television productions. Following the closure of the company in 2009, she expanded her artistic repertoire as a textile artist and production line manager for prominent national accounts.
In 2012, Sharon moved to Pittsburgh, applying her multidisciplinary background as an industrial designer to develop and engineer functional working prototypes for consumer goods. After the loss of her husband in 2020, she felt a profound calling to return to her Louisiana roots.
Now happily settled in Youngsville, Sharon is returning to her true artistic passion—crafting imaginative props and immersive backdrops for special events—through the launch of her new venture, Unparalleled Props.
